ITINERARY
Day 1 – Ahmedabad
Our tour starts with a visit to the House of MG, a heritage property connected to the Sarabhai family of Gujarat. Gujarat’s textile traditions can be seen in the well curated museum here. We spend the evening at Gandhiji’s Sabarmati Ashram.

Day 2 – Ahmedabad – Little Rann
After early breakfast, we go on a Heritage Walk in the old part of Ahmedabad. The town planning and the architecture of the homes are amazing. We get to see the community life up close and personal.
Our next destination is the wilderness of Little Rann. En route visit a number of heritage sites, the most prominent being Rani ki Vav and Modhera Sun temple.
Explore the wildlife in a jeep safari - the wild ass grazing around the shrubs and the wetlands teaming with flamingos are a beautiful sight.
Enjoy dinner and a quiet evening in the wilderness under the stars.

Day 3 – Little Rann - Dholavira
Enjoy more of the wilderness in an early morning safari. After breakfast, proceed to Dholavira. This will be a drive through interesting landscapes and amazing open spaces.

Day 4 – Dholavira – Rann of Kutch
We explore the remains of the Indus Valley Civilisation in Dholavira. The walled city which comprises a heavily fortified castle and ceremonial ground as well as streets and houses of different proportion & quality testify to a stratified social order. A sophisticated water management system demonstrates the ingenuity of the Dholavira people in their struggle to survive and thrive in a harsh environment.
From here we proceed to our village accommodation in Rann of Kutch. Enjoy sunset at the salt desert.

Day 5 – White Rann - Bhuj
This is our day of exploration of various Kutchi landmarks, as we drive towards Bhuj. Our road trip has wonderful photo ops – camel herds, colourfully dressed villagers in their jeeps, the selfie at the Tropic of Cancer, and much more.
Later visit Mandvi which is famous for its shipyard where wooden ships are built by hand to this day. Also stop by at Vijay Vilas Palace.
O/n Bhuj
Day 6 – Departure
The tour ends in Bhuj today. You may take flight out of Kandla to Mumbai OR train to Ahmedabad.
